James Day
James Day is someone who quietly goes about his day, while leaving a significant impact. He tends to be a solitary individual, keeping his friends to a select few, while at the same time, has the ability to work well with others and be a contributing member of the team. Upon starting at CCW in 2015, James immediately found his niche in the Intercolonial Café. This is undoubtedly the result of attending the culinary arts program offered at NSCC and James quickly proved to be a great resource in developing new menu ideas. As time went on, James decided to introduce some variety to his day and choose to spend some time in the Ribbons Prep program. As you can see in his picture, he is very adept in button manufacturing but has also proven himself to be more than capable of assisting with various components of ribbon production. You should also know that prior to Covid, James worked at the Holiday Inn, assisting in the kitchen and just recently, the newly named “Inn on Prince” has welcomed James back, with enhanced responsibilities. They obviously know a good employee when they find one! He is a busy guy but fortunately, James also knows life is all about balance and as an avid reader, this means sitting back with a good Stephen King novel.
