Chris Spence
Chris Spence is a transplant to Truro, originally hailing from Five Islands. He started at Colchester Community Workshops in the fall of 2007, a very quiet but friendly young man. Chris willingly helped out with many of the contracts and learned new skills quickly. It was soon apparent that while Chris enjoyed the training aspect of his placement, he was just as interested in expanding his social network! He made some new friends and found his first girlfriend, hence his eventual decision to move to Truro. He now attends Colchester Adult Learning Association two afternoons a week and is a proud member of the Special Olympics Bowling team. Throughout these many transitions, Chris has remained positive and appreciative, never missing an opportunity to hand out a compliment to someone in need.
