Robert Upshaw
Robert Upshaw was a very young man when he first started attending at Colchester Community Workshops. CCW was located on Prince Street at the time and like many young people, Robert was undecided as to what he wanted for his future. He would come into placement for a bit and then pursue other interests for a year or two, returning when he felt a need for additional supports. Today, Robert is fully embracing the opportunities offered at the Workshops, participating in the Small Contracts program, along with learning the steps necessary to communicate with friends and family via Zoom. He is anxious for CCW’s New to You to reopen on weekends, so that he can return to his previous employment of receiving public donations at the back door. We are with you on this one Robert. We are all ready for Covid restrictions to be just a distant memory.
