Victoria Whidden

Do you ever wonder how the rosettes get made at STEPs on Arthur? Well, Victoria Whidden can now tell you after just learning how to sew them! Tori was first introduced to our programs and services when she was still a high school student. At that time, she was participating in the School to Work program, which provided students with an opportunity to learn about various options available upon graduation. Tori came in to STEPs a couple of days a week, for several weeks and eventually completed an application for service. Although Tori was in the Resources Plus program during her school to work transitioning, she went directly into the Ribbons Prep area upon entering into permanent service. She has a terrific sense of humor, that involves trying to scare people multiple times a day and she takes great pride in her accomplishments, making her a welcome addition to any program. When not at STEPS, Tori can be found attending the Colchester Adult VON Day Program or hanging out with housemates Christina and Andrea. We have learned that with the right incentive, Tori will walk regularly, but would much prefer exploring all things Pokeman or enjoying zoom calls with Lorelei. This tells you just a little bit about Tori, but you can’t fully enjoy her personality until you meet her. We hope you get that chance!
